I have my motif rack set up in cubase 5 as a vst3 using the studio editor everything works fine in cubase.  I was using fl studio 9 and the motif was there as vst.  Everything seems fine but i cant map the audio inside the editor.  So the midi command is there just no sound, anyone know why?

You have to make a set up in FL Studio in terms of using with Motif Rack. Now;
1-) Go to “Options” and click there MIDI settings.
2-) You will see “Output"s and “input"s as MIDI. Now, for the “output”, you must choose Motif rack. Then check on “send master sync”. Choose “MIDI beat clock” for the synchronization. And finally, you must enter a value for the “Port Number”; you may enter number “1” as port number.
3-) Close that MIDI page.
4-) From Options, check on “enable MIDI out” and “enable MIDI master sync”.
5-) Now, insert “MIDI Out” as an instrument.
6-) And set its port number to “1”. 
7-) You must insert sixteen channels of “MIDI out” instruments from FL Studio for being able to play sixteen channels from Motif rack simultaneously.

thanks for the advise, but im trying to set-up the motif rack as a vst3 in fl studio, where you use the studio editor to edit the rack.  Fl studio see’s the motif rack as a instrument.  The studio editor pops up and sync’s, but it says audio port is missing.  When i go to set the audio, i cant choose from the drop down menu.
