hi guys, firs i whant to apoligise for my bad english...im a european balkan dud:) so here is my problem...i both xs rack & mlan card year ago and instal everything on my mac pro intel xeon 2x quad core 2,6 with 8 gb ram on leopard (at that time i used logic 8)...and everything worked perfect...after i decide to go on snow leopard & logic 9 i started to have big problems...this is what is happening almost every day...i turn on my mac pro & than my motif xs rack, but only 1 in 10 times the driver connects and become visible in osx snow leopard midi & audio setup...and that is f...... iritating!!!  so now i will try to uninstall and delet all files with are in connection with motif xs rack & mlan....please can someone tell me in steps what to do and how to install everything so i can work again...and one more thing/question...is it posible to update firmware for mo-xs rack from logic 9 and how?...thax a lot...greatings from croatia…

The mLAN Driver/mLAN Tools is not compatible with Snow Leopard. When you changed the operating system on your computer, it is going to impact the software and drivers that you are running. mLAN Driver/mLAN Tools 1.2.0 is compatible with Mac OS 10.4.x ~ 10.5.x

Snow Leopard 10.6.x is not a compatible Operating System.

You should be using the Yamaha Steinberg FW Driver version 1.5.1 which is compatible with Snow Leopard.

It is not clear from your post which driver you are actually using - but whenever you change the operating system of your computer you should re-check the requirements of critical software that you want to run.

ok...i update everything drivers, firmwares and other stuff...fw driver is working perfectly now...but there is one more thing...whan i open new project in logic & put instrument track and external instrument plugin than audio input & midi works great...the logic see new midi ports...but whan i open some project from time whan i use to use my rack xs with mlan driver it still see old mlan drivers not the new one...actualy it see new one but only in “external midi” tracks but not whan i put external instrument plug in on instrument track...any ideas??

i just find out that motis xs rack midi is now labeld as “blofeld 2” but there are no 2nd & 3rd channel...lol...this is realy crazy...i guess logic is very confused...can someone help?? i tried to refrash library but nothing happend...thx

lol… doesn’t sound so logical to me… you may want to post in our Logic forum here on Motifator - Motif8mine is fairly knowledgeable about all thing Logic.
