Hi All!

I am using a Motif XS8 as a controller, a Motif ES Rack, with Sonar 8.5.  Right now I have a M-Audio Midisport 4x4.

Is there a way to use USB for all midi.. perhaps a USA hub?  And get rid of midi cables and the Midisport 4x4 all together?  Thanks

CM

Yes, both the Motif XS and the Motif-Rack ES are USB-MIDI interfaces. Not sure if you want to use the Studio Manager EDITORS or not. And both can connect to your computer with just a USB cable.

If you do want to use the STUDIO MANAGER and the EDITORS you must connect them both to your computer via USB and use the Yamaha USB-MIDI Driver for your computer type. In this case both will establish MIDI IN/OUT routing via their respective USB cables.

You can get the correct driver for download from http://www.yamahasynth.com
