Hello
does anyone know if it’s a good idea to upgrade an es rack to an xs rack???

I like some of the sounds that are on the es that aren’t on the xs

is it foolish to have both???

I think so… but then again there are guys that I’ve seen that have the XS rack and the XS board.  That makes no sense at all either. 

From what I read on gear slutz, (I think that is where I saw it), they say that if you have the es rack already, that it’s not enough of an upgrade to get the xs rack.  And that you’d be better off spending the money on something else (another soundset from a different company...) roland or korg.  The Fantom XR is a good choice if you are considering another rack and you can get one cheaper that you can get a xs rack for (i think)
