Hi all, just bought a MO8 & took it to band practice & was lost. I thought I could pull up certain sounds that I found before practice but I was wrong. I would also like to know how to record & will recording be handy in live performances? The manual seems very very complicated. Thanks for any help in getting started.

Youtube was a pretty good source to help me get started, this should help get you going with the sequencer. Although it is done on the Motif ES, it is the same for MO6/8.

It covers the important parts of the Motif MO6/8, (as well as the Motif ES6/7/8), and is very well produced!

Well worth purchasing if you are having difficulty understanding the complex Motif MO6/8 Manual.

Even after of 2 years of MO ownership, I still regularly refer to the DVD for assistance!
