Hi All

I’m wondering if someone could explain or direct me to the page number in the manual that explains exactly how to “draw in” midi controller messages on my MO8 “after the notes have been recorded”.

I have been trying to emulate a guitar part on one of the demos, and feel this is the only way that this guitar voice could be so expressive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks ,

Create Continuous Data page 186

You don’t really give us anything to go on - just that it must be the way it was done… If you get stuck, let us know what you are trying to achieve.

Thanks Bad_Mister

I actually tried to re-word an earlier post that no one semed to want to touch.

Here is the original thread I was leaning toward:

“There is a very “smooth” sounding “JazzGtMelo” voice on track #6 of the 1st Pattern demo (R&B;Smooth) on the my MO8.
It sounds as if it’s using some midi controller messages for pitch bend, and maybe not (I’m not sure) using an arppegio.

What I want to know is simply this:

How was that specific part recorded?

From an arpeggio?
Played from the keyboard itself?
Was the controller messages applied after the fact (or could that be done “after” a recording and “how")

How can I achieve the same type of sound to my guitar parts?

I’m just looking to create the same high quality sounds as I hear from these demos. (can you blame me? lol)”

So this is the sound I’m trying to emulate! Any Takers?
