This is what I have:

M Audio Fast Track Pro
M Audio Keyrig 49
KRK RP 6 G2

I’ve connected the Motif Rack XS audio outs with the inserts on my Fast Track Pro.

When I start up the Editor and I click on the notes with my mouse, I don’t hear nothing. When I plug in my headphones to the Rack, then I can hear something.

Also the editor says that I’m not connected, offline with no blue dot.

Please help me because I want to break this thing.
I’ve downloaded all the latest drivers etc..

Your setup is all wrong. First, you have the wrong Editor… if you do indeed own a Motif-Rack XS make sure you down load and install the Motif-Rack XS Editor, from your screen shots we see that you have the Motif XS Editor… Different product, different Editor.

Once you get the correct Editor in Studio Manager
1) Add the Motif-Rack XS Editor to your workspace
2) Under MIDI SETTINGS you want to check for MIDI INPUT PORTS
both “Yamaha MOTIF-R XS-1” and “Yamaha MOTIF-R XS-4”

Under MIDI OUTPUT PORTS both “Yamaha MOTIF-R XS-1” and “Yamaha MOTIF-R XS-4”

Then at the bottom check MIDI THRU, and on the INPUT (left) side you want to put your MIDI CONTROLLER - whatever it is… KeyRig49 (?) and whatever USB driver it is using.

and on the OUTPUT side (right) you want to put the Yamaha MOTIF-R XS-1

Port 1 is for normal MIDI note-on, Controller, etc.
Port 4 is reserved for bi-directional and simultaneous interaction between the hardware and software when the EDITOR is ONLINE.

MIDI THRU is where you place your controller keyboard (as the INPUT source) and then your controlled sound device (Motif-Rack XS main port #1) as the OUTPUT destination.

Make sense?

Now when you launch the Motif-Rack XS Editor:
Go to FILE > SETUP…
The AUTO SYNC screen for the Rack XS is different (this is how I know you have the wrong editor).

At the top… there is DATA PORT - which will be your controller keyboard’s MIDI port
Next you select USB and click the DETAIL = ON

There is no PORT 1 for MIDI IN (MIDI IN is your keyboard)
But there is PORT 1 for MIDI OUT = MOTIF-R XS-1

Next
PORT 4 for MIDI IN = MOTIF-R XS-4
PORT 4 for MIDI OUT = MOTIF-R XS-4
