I’ve been writing and saving songs with multiple instrument and vocal tracks for years and recently I had a few major problems saving with USB storage devices. After losing the song I was working on after a “freeze,” I turned off and unplugged the keyboard to start over, but none out of the three USB’s I tried to save with worked. They took longer than usual to initialize and when trying to save, the “disk full” notification popped up immediately(even 2 brand new ones). It still saves to smart media cards but they don’t have enough storage space for many vocal tracks. Is there any way to restart the system or something? Help please!

The freeze is suspect; I never saw it.
May be you should take it to a repair shop, because this
smells of other problems, especially if new USB sticks won’t work.

However, remember that USB sticks over 2Gb give format problems with the ES.
