Saying you have the ‘latest’ does not help us verify this. Could you please list the version of the Editor and the version of the USB-MIDI driver.
Go to DEVICES > PLUGIN INFORMATION
FYI: it is also apparent from your video that you have not installed the Motif-Rack XS Extension version 1.5.1. |

Very unusual… we are assuming that even after installing the Extension you are receiving the same behavior?

Installing the extension did not solve the problem. I also tried to do it the way you described and it didn’t work either. But after this I uninstalled all Motif related drivers and USB midi driver and installed them again very carefully. First usb midi driver, then the extensions and finally the VST editor. And now it works. I must have done something wrong in this whole cubase changing and driver installing process, but I can’t tell what it is. I think it had something to do with the extensions because I didn’t have them installed at one time as you noticed. In future I have to be sure I have installed ALL the required drivers and the right versions so that my sofware can work properly. I really appreciate your time Bad_Mister and thank you. |
