I have some SMFs that contain nothing but sys-ex commands to load new patch banks into a Virus TI synth.

When I load these into the ES as either a pattern or song, the tempo reads ZERO and the sequencer will not play. Even after reseting the tempo the sequencer and arpeggiator will not run.

If I power the ES off and on, then things return to normal but then the SMF has been erased from sequencer memory.

I am at a loss as to how to play these SMFs from the ES. Any ideas?
