Well all I can say is that I liked all of that song.
The part I like the most, is the fact that you used no drums at all.
THat gives the song a live feel to itself.

THanks for sharing your work.

Thanks Jan,
I’m very happy that you like it.
I’m off to London now.
Hope the boat won’t sink (the Eurostar has problems).
Going to work on a completely different song.

Thanks Jerry.
Indeed: no drums, no arpeggiators, no imported midi ...
that’s my principle.
The last barrier to be taken this year is the sequencer: live!
Thanks for listening.

By the way: the video’s were made by me on the way to elucidate
the story behind the voyage from Ha Noi to Phuoc Loi in 2008.
The entire suite is 12 songs and 13 video’s.

Sorry Jan, I added it a bit later.
I plan to publish couples of video+song, so no, it’s not on that
website yet.

I tell you a secret:
I didn’t have space on my primary website, which is under re-struction,
so I started a 2nd site: phan mem con soc == sciuriware in Vietnamese.
(LOL)

;JOOP!

P.S.: indeed I write wonderful songs, but what a lousy technique!!!
I must spend much more time on playing.

Joop,

You hear the music in your mind and you are able to put that on paper. If your playing technic on the keyboard gets in your way, let other keyboardplayers play the difficult pieces. LOL. Just an idea.

There are a lot of composers who do not have the skills to play their own creations, but they are composing wonderful music.

Nice work Joop, now I know who writes all these little tunes you hear when your Windows OS boots up!

Joop, why and where have you been hiding your songs.

I think this is the best original composition to show up on the forum in a ling time. What a wonderful piece of music. Sort of like a sweet Lullaby.

Golden stars for you my friend.

Just returned from London;
I could nor read my email there neither visit Motifator,
because the hotel blocked all access to sites with a password.

Well, I’m overwhelmed: I had not expected such reactions.
I can only say: you make life meaningful to me.
I once was a large-computer expert, I’m nothing in that area now.
At 62 you’re as obsolete as the boxes you worked with.
Thanks my friends.

And for Yamaholic: this is what my computer sounds like at log-on:

Thanks for listening.
Why don’t you have any synthesizers listed in your profile
(as you have an XS)?
There should be a Voice like Soleil in the XS (I hope).
