Last song this weekend. I Give You My Soul.

A soul song. I think. Maybe somebody can add a second soul track to it. LOL

I like that buddy, and man, I’m not kidding, I’m going to have to explore the preformances on the XS, this stuff of your’s is giving me some inspiration to create some more grooves.

Hey bring up that exectric piano part more in the mix, I could barely hear the lead play, nice job though.

THanks for sharing your work.

Jerry,

Thanks for listening and commenting on this one.

I kept that piano in the background, because the whole music track was meant to be the background for a vocal lead or instrumental lead. So I was hoping that somebody would accepting the challenge to make that lead or song.

I know it is wishfull thinking, because there are not many brothers on this forum who has the courage to collab with others, except you ofcourse.

Hey Bro,

I was doing a little reverse wading, here, and came across this piece.  I like the groove that you have on it, and was sitting here humming through it a little bit.  I wonder if you have the XS file on this (assuming it was done on the XS).  If so, send it to me, and I will try some vocals along with it.

As you know, I track my vocals into my AW1600, as opposed to doing so in my PC (I much pefer it that way).  But I have never tried to import an MP3 into my unit, and don’t even know if it would be accepted.  I can try converting your MP3 to a Wav file, and see how that works.

But I am definitely ‘game’.

Hi Nathan,

Sorry for my late respons.

This song is made on the TYROS3, so I do not have an XS file.

What I do have is a WAV file and a MP3. The wav file is rather big and cannot transferred via the internet via my internet provider. Its too big. Maybe I have to do it via another means.
Do not know which one.

Jan, you and he can connect on Skype or orther messing service, and send files directly from pc to pc, NO LIMIT at all.
Just a suggestion,,, still a GREAT song in my opinion.

Jerry,

Thank you brother. I forgot Skype totally as a means for data transfers.

Thanks

Hey Jan.

I don’t know about that ‘Skype’ thing (thanks anyway, Jerry), because I had experienced too many problems with it in the past - which is why I hadn’t messed with it anymore.

I know that the Wav file would be too large to send, but the MP3 should be fine.  I CAN convert it to Wav, although the quality would be compromised, some, by the backwards conversion.  Shouldn’t matter though, because the effort would be just to get an idea of what could possibly be made of it.
