Hi all, I’m selling my XS8 with 1GB memory for $2800 + $100 shipping (local pick up can be arranged but for cash only) or best offer as long as it’s reasonable.  I’ll be posting some pictures soon (hopefully by tomorrow).  It’s in a great shape (mint!), lightly used in non-smoking environment and never been gigged.  We are planning to have kids so there goes the free time :D

It comes with original retail box, manuals, cable, Cubase AI4, XFactor DVD and Motifator’s loyalty disc.  I’ll be selling this on eBay in near future if it doesn’t sell here, I’m offering this to fellow Motifators first (you guys have been great btw, I learned a lot from this forum :)

Prices are really dropping on 88’s. Guitar Center has the XS-8 now for 2699.00 new. This past weekend they had the Korg M3-88 for 1999.99, and only one in stock (the demo)at my local GC. Makes me wonder what’s around the corner.

Ruke: I don’t see where Guitar Center has them for 2699.00 new. You’re not kidding right? I’d return mine and get the new price on it in a heart beat if I know which Guitar Center this is.

The least expensive I find on google shopping is Hoffman Music - Yamaha motif xs8 for $3199.99.

Ruke I headed today that Korg was come out with a new workstation
this year. A GC keyboard sale man tell me this OK. Now on the XS8 it is on sale for the holiday at GC so yes get it now $2699 or late $3300. You can get the xs6 $1899 for holiday. Threr is no sale on the xs7 $3100.

The GC salesman told me the same thing about Korg. It doesn’t seem like the NAMM show is the standard time anymore for introducing new keyboards. Yamaha introduced the S90/S70XS in the fall. The XS8 for 2699.99 was the listed price on the GC website. I called and the salesman said he didn’t know when the sale would end.

Createsu, you are right. I checked and the sale is over. Back to the original list price.
