Had a complete hard drive crash tonight. Besides having to re-install everything including windows, I have to install all my drivers, etc. I’ve re-installed the Motif XS driver. USB midi seems to work okay. But now the ethernet connection is gone again. I can’t mount the hard drive. This is the problem I had a few days ago that I asked about in another thread, and then it worked again. What I need now are step by step instructions on setting up the mount feature again. I’ve read the manual, but can’t can’t get it to work. Also, I recently purchased a sound bank from the Motifator shop. I need to re-download that...who do I contact about that. I can’t seem to find a place that shows what I’ve bought. Fortunately, I had everything else backed up on my USB back-up drive, so all my other sound banks and sequence files are safe. Finally, I downloaded the Yamaha Studio manager, but I don’t what version of the Motif XS editor I’m supposed to download. All I see is the VST version, but I’m not using Cubase...I just want to be able to use the editor as a stand alone app to edit and shuttle voices around. This is all so very frustrating!!!! (on top of which, my Colts lost the Superbowl!!!) |

Thanks for the info. I solved the mounting issue. Basically I totally forgot to set my PC up on the network to allow for file sharing...DUH!!! Once I did that, everything was fine. |
