I know that the Voice Editor file for the Motif ES is supposed to load onto the S90ES. While transferring W7E & W8E files from the computer to a formatted USB drive (the files appear on the USB stick while inserted in the computer) and then inserting it into the S90ES, nothing appears on the S90ES screen in the File mode under Voice Editor. What am I missing? |

While the S90 ES EDITOR can certainly open .W7E (Motif ES6/7/8 and MO6/MO8 VOICE EDITOR) files, the keyboard itself cannot (never could). You simply need to open the Motif ES files with the S90 ES Editor (changing the “FILES OF TYPE:” parameter on Windows PC, the “ENABLE” parameter on the Mac - so it can read the .W7E tile type. Then you can bulk the data to the S90 ES from its Editor. |

Yes, open the S90 ES VOICE EDITOR
This is where you can select to OPEN the different file types: (shown circled in red): Select the file type you wish to view - in your case the “Motif ES6/7/8 & MO6/MO8 Voice Editor”.

Thanks BM. I also discovered that you can access the voices directly in the S90ES with an All file from the Motif ES. The drawback being you can only load one voice at a time in the “voice” mode type. |
