Hi,

I have the Motif ES rack.  I am trying to get my QY700 sequencer to change the multis.  I know that you go into the “edit” area while in song mode, and choose to insert either a program change or a control change, but not sure which, or how to do it, or what numbers to put in.  Please note, I am not trying to change the voices inside of the multis, but rather just get the multis to change back and forth depending on what song is selected by the QY.  Hope someone can help with this.  I have spent the last two days, all day, trying to figure this out.  The manuals get you close, but leave you doing a lot of experimenting.  Usually, I can figure out anything on either of these, but not this time.  Maybe it can’t be done(?) but it just seems like with so many multis that your sequencer should be able to make them change when you need to.  Thanks in advance for your help with this!  Dan Brown, CA

Just wanted to say thanks to Motif8mine for posting the link that helped me get this problem resolved yesterday.  I put in the numbers, and it worked!  I was amazed, as I have been trying to figure this out for years, and final decided to stick with it till I got it this weekend.  I worked on this single problem for about 10 hours.
This is the first time I have been on this site, and the only thing that was weird is that it doesn’t appear that there is a place to respond to someone after they reply to a post.  Maybe because I wasn’t signed it.
Anyway, thanks again Motif8mine for your help with this!  I appreciate it very much!  Now it’s time for the arppegios!
