Hi,

I’m trying to record a pattern chain to the usb drive by first opening the pattern, than hitting file and going to the audio tab.  The problem is, when I do this and hit record, a timer for like 70ish minutes starts counting down.  Do I have to wait this entire time for a song to record?  When I stop it early and listen to the file, there is no audio in it.  What is wrong?  Thanks.

Hi,

I have a problem when recording audio to a usb drive.  When I go to play the files on the computer, they are sometimes corrupt.  Windows pops up with a message saying the drive may have been removed before the files were copied.  Has anyone experienced this before?  Is it a problem with the usb drive, the keyboard, or am I unplugging the usb drive from the motif incorrectly?  Thanks.

Perhaps you are removing the drive before the file gets properly written. I usually give it 20 seconds or so, check that no activity is showing on the USB access light, then change mode on the XS before removing the USB drive.

Df.
