Hi,

I’ve installed both the usb midi driver (um121mx) and studio manager (sm232mx) on OSX (10.5.7) but for some reason the device doesn’t appear in the device editor window that allows you to add it to the workspace. I’ve tried reinstalling and rebooting several times.. I don’t believe that I need to have the Midi In/Out set to USB do I?

Thanks in advance!
Alan

Make sure you download the “Motif-Rack XS Editor” - the most common mistake is that people download the “Motif-Rack XS Editor VST” which will not appear in Studio Manager.

There are two different editors: One runs in Studio Manager - it can run with Studio Manager as a standalone (no DAW necessary) or it can run with Studio Manager inside of Cubase.

The other Editor is a VST plugin and allows you to work within any VST3 compatible software where you are returning audio to your computer. The VST version is quite different in how it is used - it does not run with Studio Manager.

Read the download page carefully - you will see them both:
