How do i put my Motiff XS-8 into Multi-Timbral Mode? So ican use it w/Logic 9 DAW? Or even its onboard sequncer, also so i can i acess diffent sounds in the Motiff XS-8, on different Midi chanells , so i can acces them from my midi controller keyboard?

Try song or pattern mode (mixing).

You will get 16 tracks and 16 midi channels that you can assign different voices to.

On the front panel of the XS you will see the word “SEQUENCER” directly above the SONG and PATTERN mode buttons. This is to indicate that these are the modes you will want to use when using a sequencer, be that sequencer internal or external… Those are the “MULTI PART” modes - as indicated underneath the buttons SONG and PATTERN.

Press the [MIXING] button - there you can select your VOICES (up to 16 of them, one per PART.

Use the Track Select buttons [1]-[16] to select a PART.
Use the EDIT button to view the editable parameters for the selected PART.
