I was wondering if you could layer sounds and put them to your favorites.  Would you have control of the volumes of each?  Example:  Piano, Strings, Vox, Rhodes.  Thanks!!!

Layering voices is what Performance mode on the MO is all about. In performance you can combine up to 4 voices assigning “note and velocity limits” such that they are split and layered by notes or the velocities that the notes are played at. In performance mode, the relative volume of each part of the performance is set by the MO’s control sliders.

For more information on setting up performance see the MO Owner’s Manual or check out Setting Up a Simple Two Part Performance. While written for the Motif ES, this post applies to the MO as well.
