Hi,

when I re-open a Cubase 5 Project with MIDI tracks,
the Volume settings of each track are reset to 100 %,
although they should come up like I saved them before
(different levels).

The funny thing is that the faders of the Cubase Mixer
actually show the right setting, but when I play the tracks
they are all at 100% and much too loud.

I’m using Multi Part Editor 2.2.0 with the last Cubase 5 version.
The “transmitting bulk” dialog works for the sounds an each track.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like Cubase isn’t configured to update the controllers on the device when it starts playing a track.

Do you know how I can change that ?
I deleted the controller data from the MIDI tracks
which didn’t work.

I realized that the Multi Part Mixer and the Cubase 5 Mixer
do not show the same volume levels on each channel.

When I do the volume changes in the Multi Part Mixer,
the right settings are re-loaded.

When I do the volume changes in the Cubase mixer,
the settings are ignored when I re-load the project.

How do I achieve in getting everything working using the Cubase Mixer only ?
