Hi everyone,

I got the ES Rack hooked up through the digital output of the ES into the SPDIF input on my Emu 0404 USB and i’m trying to use the instruments in the multi mode. How can i assign the instruments to go out through the digital out? I tried the manual but no succes.

Help great appreciated!!

As I understand it, the Digital Outputs (whether electrical or optical) are digital replicas of the Main L&R;analog outputs (with the exception that their volume is not affected by the volume control). So any part routed to the main outputs will be present in the digital output.

The specifications section of the user manual indicates that the digital outputs are 24-bit 44.1kHz S/PDIF format. You should make sure Emu 0404 is setup compatible with that format.
