Hey Guys,

I have a song. I want to put the Vocoder output into a track. Now I know you can only do that by doing a resample of the output of the whole thing due to how the vocoder works.

my question is how do I get the vocoder onto a track WITHOUT all the other instruments, if I need to listen to the song, in order to get the timing for the vocoder.

Is there a trick like maybe forcing the output of all the other tracks to an assignable out, whilst recording the vocoder output on the normal l/r channels ??  Would that work ?? or does the resample record ALL outputs ??

Mark.

Mark,

As I understand it, resampling records the main mix (i.e. that sent to the Main L&R;analog outputs, the SP/DIF and mLAN 15,16 - if present), so assigning all of the other outputs to the assignable outputs would remove them from the resampled audio.
