Are the keyboards used in the Motif XS8 and S90ES identical or similar? In terms of the keyboard mechanism - noise, feel, response, comfort, that sort of thing. I played both yesterday, however it was in a very noisy store, and the ergonomic setup for each keyboard was both very different and also both very awkward. I was mainly trying to compare each keyboard for controlling piano sounds. Although both were similar, it did seem that the S90ES was better than the XS8, however, I wonder if I was being influenced by fact that the piano sound was better in the S90ES. So, similar or identical? Lawrence PS - this stuff gets tricky. For example, with Roland the so called same mechanism (PHAII for example) used in various keyboards can in fact be quite different. I play the Roland RD-700GX and the Roland FP7, which both are PHAII. You would think that they are the same, but they sure are not. The FP7 for example becomes much more tiring much more quickly. No contest that they are different, even though Roland marketing would claim otherwise. |

identically similar. The difference you’re talking about maybe because of their tune up. |
