I just bought these two units. I am so excited about the sounds on the motif and the action and price on the kx8.

I do live performance and I am getting concerned that you can only jump from one multi to the next in numerical order. Is there any good way to be able to jump from say 01 to 32...... Or I guess I’m asking did I buy the wrong MIDI controller?

The KX8 is designed as a computer-based Music Production keyboard controller. Are you using a computer with it?

No. I do live performance, I had hoped to use just the KX8 and Motif rack. I like the action on the KX, but I noticed a shortcoming with the setup.  I need a way to do program changes to the Multi section.

I have set up several multis, and you can only go one program at a time. Is there a Midi box or some way to get around this?

Is there another MIDI controller that doesn’t weigh a lot that I should use? I love the sounds on the Motif, but I need to work out a few kinks in the setup
