Hi.... Trying to figure out how to layer the VL board in a performance. Is it possible to play a trio of horns ala Chicago?

Does anyone know if you can layer several horns using performance mode and the PLG150 VL board? If so, how? |

You probably didn’t read tech spec of VL card. It is 1 (one) note polyphony tone generator, so you could play only one note at a time. That mean that you could either play one horn at time on VL and layer it with two other horns from ES itself (AWM2 based). Or, if you wish to fill all three available slots with three VL card’s, than you could use three VL voices in performance and one ES voice. Alex |

Thanks all..... I guess as long as the “lead horn” is the one I can solo through a part, this will make them sound full anyway. @Alex- I saw the very fine print in the VL guide… AFTER I posted… OOPS! @ Brad- Thanks for the responces. |
