Does anyone out there use a Compressor, Stereo EQ or PreAmp along with the ES/XS.? I know the keyboard has a Master effect. Is this what it is for? I usually play through the same PA system. Should I tweak the master effect, more to the point should I use the MultiBand Compressor in the Master Effect to get the best sound from the Motif. Will I have to set this for each Song, Pattern AND Voice ?
Also what would tweaking the output db in “Utility” do ? Thanks for any help. I am steadily trying to learn as much about the keyboard as I can.

I use an outboard compressor on my Rack.

The outboard EQ is used more to tune the ROOM than to tune the synth; a task which would be pretty arduous to change at every gig…
