This comes from my CS6x, with a Bass from Nordlead3 and a Sopranosax. But wait, the Sax is not a sample! It comes from the VL-Board of the CS6 and is blown with a breathcontroller ... my first try with this kind of soundcontrol…

Very Nice - I own the PLG150-VL card and I can appreciate the playing because it does take practice. You just got me excited about my virtual acoustics card again. I really have to listen to see if that’s not a real player. Thanks. |

Aneider, I like the arrangement/orchestration of this song very much. However, I am not very happy with the soprano solo/sound. You did a great job, using the VL-board and the BC controller. I have used that VL-board and BC controller long time ago and did not get good results with it. Maybe because I do not like the BC thing. The WX7 worked a lot better till it broke. LOL. OK. Why am I not pleased with this soprano sax solo, it sound to cold, the long notes does not have any vibrato or variation in pitch. In IMHO too less emotion in the sound. I am sure its because you just started with the VL-board combined with the BC. I want to hear the bending of the reed, the sharpness in the sound of the soprano. Playing soprano sax is playing with emotion. LOL. I am sure next song with the VL-board and BC will be great. Jan |

Aneider, I understand. For a first try you achieved a lot. I remember my first try with that BC controller and the VL-Board in my ES8. I certainly would not post that one. No way. Jan |

Aneider, In the matter of fact. I did listen to the Weather Reload2 version, but I thinkt the soprano sound is still to monotone for my taste. However, I think thats a personal opinion. Maybe it was your intention to keep the soprano sound so monotone. I will come back on your Reload2 version later. It is to hot in my studio to stay there for long. LOL. I was planning to download your Reload2 version to add something to it, but I wait till the weather cools down. (midi file will help) Jan |
