Ok here is what I am working with:

Yamaha Motif Rack ES
MPC 2000xl
Midiman Oxy61

My setup is connected like so: Oxy 61 Midi Out -> MPC Midi IN, MPC Midi OUT-> Motif Rack Midi IN

What I have been doing is using the Rack in Multi Mode, and then sequence all my instruments on the MPC. This is where I have a question: When I want to save a beat I save all Sequences & Songs, and All PGMS on the MPC, and then I have to save the Multi Program on the Motif rack. PROBLEM IS- I am running out of rewritable Multi programs on the rack. I thought I could midi dump the Multi information on the MPC, which saves all the instruments/midi channels etc. Is there a way to do this? Am I doing this the hard way?

Any advice is truly appreciated.

The Motif-Rack ES can Bulk Dump its MULTI setup as follows:
From MULTI mode
Press [UTILITY]
PAGE [>] to the last page [JOB SEL]
Select BULK DUMP
Press [ENTER]
Mark the item “Current 1 Multi”
Press [ENTER] twice…

This will send every parameter of the current Multi OUT via MIDI where you can store it in an external device set to record MIDI system exclusive data.
