OK, I see where using Mix Templates aid in playing live. How Do I save a Mix Template to a Master so that I can toggle between Voices, Performances, Mix Templates easily. Right now I see where Masters can save Songs or Patterns but not Mix Templates. Do I need to save the Template to 1 of those? Toggling between Voices, Perfomances, and Mix Templates Live right now is a bear, as I have to GET the Template which takes time and I am always at risk of overwriting it. |

You are correct that you cannot directly access a mixing template from master mode. You can, however, “get” a mixing template to a song or pattern and then assign that song or pattern to one of the master settings. Since patterns and songs are stored in volatile memory (meaning they are lost when you power off the instrument) you will need to save and recall an ALL file if you want these setting to be present the next time you power on your Motif. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to save the ALL file as an “AUTOLOAD.w2a” file and setup the Motif to automatically load this file on power on. For more information on doing this, see the following link (from the older forums): http://www.sninety.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Programming&Number=112693. Regards, Brad Weber |
