No, it won’t. When you set the MIDI IN/OUT to USB, the IN/OUT ports basically become just an external MIDI port that you can access via your sequencer. If you want the MIDI data being generated by the MOTIF (which is then sent via USB to the host) to be sent back out the MIDI OUT port, you’ll need to configure the software on your PC to echo from the USB MIDI IN back out the external MIDI OUT. |

hey tony, bascially all i am trying to achieve is :
I am using a usb keyboard, es rack usb connected to my pc running cubase le.
So I just want to route the es’s midi clock to the tr61.
Whats the best method ?

This probably isn’t what you want to hear, but, given the description: The best thing is to make CUBASE the master and everything else a slave. After all, it’s much more difficult to change the clock rate in the RACK than it is in Cubase… |

Thanks anyway Tony but i found a work around.
How this drama came about is , the midi keboard I am using only works via usb, some bug with the midi out (old evolution keyboard)
