Greetings Everyone,

I have made a pattern chain and at the end of the song, since I have it quantized, I wanted to see if there is a way to gradually slow the tempo at the end of the song.  Is it possible to slow the end of the song down, say, over two measures, without having to remove the quantize feature?

Thanks.  Great Forum by the way!

Yes, you can go into Event Edit mode, select the Tempo track and insert time changes throughout the section you wish to slow down, thus gradually slowing down the playback speed without affecting the quantise.

If you stay in Pattern mode you may have to create a special ‘last pattern’ pattern containing the tempo changes so that it only happens at the end. Alternatively you can convert your patterns to a linear song and add the tempo changes in Song mode.

Df.
