I am unsure what to do. I am currently using an ES 6 as my bottom keyboard. I use an MO6 on top. I play mostly Top 40 and some rock and jazz. I have a chance to buy a used Nord Electro 2 for $500 (great condition). Should I replace the MO6 with the Electro 2? If I do I’ll probably have to go MIDI out on the Electro to grab some of the ES sounds. I need to do that because I need strings and synth on the top keyboard sometimes. That shouldn’t be too difficult in Master Mode but might be a pain. And I love have dedicated keyboards (no MIDI). I am considering this more complicated(?)set-up because I love the Electro clav, electric pianos and organs. What would you do? Doc |

Go for the Electro....its a good price. Then after working with your new setup make a decision to sell or keep. |

I bought the Electro 2. I am using all 3 boards when I have the room onstage. Nice little keyboard. |

Get one of these for your keys and you’ll always have room :) |

Does anyone find that X style racks wobbles with heavy boards (35 - 45#) on bottom and second rack, especially when playing boogie-woogie type stuff with left hand on bottom keys? Mine does (heavy duty On Stage 3 tier). Mostly the top keys wobble. I’m wondering if the Z style stands are better about this???? Thanks to anyone that replies… N |
