I purchased the Yamaha SCSI cd-rw for my motif 8 a while ago. I’ve been using it to read sample data but now I’d like to use it to save files to CDs. I seem to be having trouble:
I’ve tried different blank CDs and I cannot save to them. I tried to format it and I get “unsupported disk” error message.

Any thoughts?

None of the Motif support writing to CDRW’s (or DVDRWs either). Such devices can only be used to load data into the instrument.
