Is there a difference between sample memory and user RAM, or are they both the same. I’m trying to load sounds on my ES but I keep getting the message that say’s “sample memory full”. Please help

Sample memory is separate from the memory used to store patches, system settings, etc. Read pg. 187 of the manual.

If you bought your ES brand new and didn’t install any RAM, you have none. If you bought it used and you’re not sure if any sample RAM was installed by a previous owner just press the Integrated Sampling button, you will get an error message if you have no RAM installed.

To check how precisely how much unused memory and available sampling time you have, press INTEGRATED SAMPLING then INFORMATION.
