I am researching getting an MO6… I have yet to see it in person, i am curious if the Main Surface or Cabinet is METAL?, like the motif series or is it a plastic Cover?

Plastic.

....thanks for the Help… from photos, the MO6 looks MUCH like the Motif style Metal cover.

the MO8 has a very flimsy finish. It seems to mark very easily and the sliders and buttons are all have a pretty cheap feel.

Then again, thats what this keyboard is - a cheap version of the Motif - so you get what you pay for.

I had the same first impression - generally cheesy build quality - but in fairness I haven’t managed to break anything on it yet. For what you pay for it, the MO gives good bang for the buck.
