Every time I try to record any kind of strings on a loop using pattern mode it only seems to record a fraction of it and nothing else. Is there any way to reset my motif to fix this without losing any saved files?  Thanks.

By default, pattern mode is set to record 4 measure pattern phrases. If you want to record patterns of a different length than that (either shorter or longer) you need to change the measure count (see the attached image) prior to recording.

If you want to reset the Motif to its factory initialized state simply press [UTILITY]-->[JOB]-->[ENTER]-->[INC/YES]. Make sure that you save an ALL file if there are any user settings (voices, performances or other data) that you have created that you want to recall later.
