When i’m using the seq to make a pattern and i assign my sounds to trk 1 thru 16. As i start to record and adding different sounds to my recording. the sounds start to change on perious tracks i recorded on already. for example if i put a piano on track 1 then a bass on trk 2 and so fort so fort. when i get to trk 9 and i put drums on trk 9 it changes the bass on trk 2 to drums. how can i keep the sounds from changing? also if i record a line on trk 3 and then i record a line on trk 10 it combines the to lines on one trk making it sound confusing.

Sounds like a pattern header issue.  You will need to go in and manually edit the pattern header.  See this string for more details.
