Here is my latest moody song(LOL), been working on this off / on for 2 months, I thought it was time to complete it / not finished though and post it up.
I had a lot of ideals flowing when working with this one, so I threw everything in this one(LOL), I was getting a little frustrated, uninspired, glad, creative and inspired again(LOL).
So you guess it!  (that’s where the title came from)(LOL)

I used the Motif-ES, Korg Triton, Korg wavestation, SD 2.0
recorded and mixdown in Cubase 4, final mix with T-Racks 3!

Good rock jazzy song. And those vocal samples are neat.

great arrangement. I liked it a lot, something to listen while driving.

Nice one!!

I definitely like your drum and electric guitar programming (especially towards the end :)).

I like the composition as a whole, and also the old classic korg sounds in the background (Vocal samples raised a smile too :)

This is a very different variation on a theme (I also did a song called “Mood Swings” not so long ago, but that was more subdued-sounding overall compared to your interpretation) so it’s always good to hear another musical perspective as well.

Great work!

Very nice.  Nice syncopated riffs, drum tracks and tonality.  Arrangement was cool with lots of interesting voicing, dynamics and solo work. Liked the crescendo and climax in the end.. not nearly enough guitar shredding yet though [grin].

Well done.

Brother Mix, this is an outstanding track man.
I can tell you put the extra time and work in on this one.
Wished the guitar part towards the end, would have been just
a little louder.
Excellent drum work, like that the most, and also the bassline.
Was not expecting the vocal parts you and your wife put in, and yes
I liked that as well.

Overall, I rate it a 4.9/5 only because I wanted that guitar part louder..LOL that’s just me.

Thanks for sharing your work.

Hi J-Dub my brother, thanks for the feedback I’m glad you liked it.
4.9 out 5 ? wooohooo! that’s pretty good (LOL).
hey my brother, I promise you in 2 yrs when I lay down another shredded guitar solo, I’ll crank it up just for you, how’s that? (LOL)
by that time I’ll be pretty good to justify my standout solo (LOL).

I’ll PM you, My wife is almost complete with those lyrics.
she just need a little snippet of the music, to make sure the words flow correctly.

Thanks Again!

Outstanding work!

The arrangement with its many parts: very difficult to compose, to play and to record. Great work!

Sound: great
“Singing”: great
...and drums, guitar: please send me your musicians!

Please tomorrow a song like this please!

Michael

LOL ok, I guess she is going to sing, hip hop Gospel huh?
In my case, the music will most likely be re-written around her lyrics.
Beside, knowing me, I will most likely add to her lyrics, for her/your/mine personal experiences, in some cases may be the same, but more things may also be a little bit different, ya know what I’m sayin?

Bring it own, and before I even attempt to sing/rap the lyrics, I have to send you to music, for you may want to add to it as well.
This collaboration shall be great, but it also shall take some time.
Yall busy ova thur, so am I.. LOL.

Let brother Job be our guide in this endevor..LOL

Hi Michael, LOL I’m glad you really liked it.
My musicians would love to lay a track down for you, there’s only one problem though.
they never played for nobody else before!(LOL), as a matter of fact, I have the best musicians in the world!
They never missed a rehearsal, They never complain about being in the spotlight, They always play what you want them to play, They never ask to be paid, they don’t smoke, drink,or do drugs!
all they need is a little electricity and they will come through everytime.(LOL)

LOL just send the lyrics, I will try my best to make them sound good, but it will take time.
After it’s done, I shall post the results up here, with the props where they are due.
Also, with the premission of both of you, I will, depending on how it’s received here, post it on MySpace, and SoundClick.

MoSongs is the testing board.
Thanks to both of you, and I eagerly await.
