I can’t figure out a way and I don’t think there is a way apart from using an external guitar effect pedal, but I want to make sure.  I’ve got to play some stuff that is pretty heavy on delay on pianos and keys coming up and I was hoping to use the internal effects on the ES.  The problem is matching the tempo.  Is there a way to accomplish this using the 34one tap tempo pedal?  If no, does anyone have a small guitar delay with tap they recommend?  Thanks.

Yes, of course. You can set up delays to be e.g. on quarter notes and have those synced to the external MIDI clock.
