Hello,
I just got My Motif Rack XS to the studio,
Im using Nuendo 4, and M-Audio FireWire 410.
I have installed the Motif via USB Cable.
The Editor in nuendo seems to work fine, it synchronizes with the Motif, and the Motif plays the midi track I record. But I dont know how to set it up so that the audio it produces will return to nuendo.
Should the usb connection also pass audio to the computer?
Since I couldnt get audio back, from the Motif,
Now I here the Motif allright,
But there is a strange tapping sound, that is constantly heard on the left monitor,
Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Oded |

No sir! The USB port Does Not carry audio. You will have to connect the output of the motif L&R;and / or the Aux Outs to the imputs of the Firewire 410 |

Follow the Nuendo owner manual instructions to assign audio returns when an external instruments is configurated (like Cubase). And as motif8mine wrote don´t forget to connect the motif´s main L&R;and aux L$R outs to respective M-audio inputs |
