Newbie here for sure. Tried to post this once so it might turn up again.
My MO6 didn’t come with a sustain pedal. My older FP-4 sustain pedal works oppositely, sustain is on until you press the pedal down. Can this be changed?

The MO does not include the ability to reverse the “polarity” of the sustain, so unless your existing foot switch has a switch to reverse polarity you will need to purchase a compatible foot switch for the sustain function on your MO. Sorry, Brad Weber |

Wow..this is either a serious oversight or a clear push to sell yamaha sustain pedals ! It’s pretty standard on most keyboards. |

If you have only 1 pedal FD-4, then you should open it then re-solder the switch (as I did), other keyboards such as Roland / Korg have polarity setup.
