Why do I get every time I use the bug report form the following message:

The following errors were encountered
You are not authorized to perform this action

I mean, it does not make sense to offer the possibility to file a bug report and wen you do that, refusing that report because I am not authorized.

I am registered and have logged in.

How does “sabotaged” make sense in this thread subject?

Is this not a bit dramatic? Somebody back me up here.

If you can provide more details as to how you are not receiving the information you need to help you use your Motif series instrument, please do so.

Thank you for your input and continued support,

JasonK

I know its a little bit dramatic. However, every time when I have something I want report about the working of this forum and I hit the little bug icon, right bottom of the screen, and after I type my remarks on the bug report form and typed the verification code and hit submit, I get the error message that I am not authorized to do this.  LOL.

So whats the point of this bug report thing? I wonder.

BTW, I am not complaining about this forum as it is. I can find a lot of usefull information here. Its just this bug report thing, you want to help the motifator guys, but it does not allow you to do so.

Ok. Point taken.

To everybody out there who may be wondering:

The bug report system is working. It is delivering the bugs you report to us, and we appreciate all of the input you give.

I will now consider fixing the warning message a top priority, as it seems to be too much negative feedback for some ;)

Thank you all. We really do appreciate the support. And @PeterG: thanks for the backup

I do not see any “bug icon”.

So I can not report it to be missing.

And I would like to send in 2 bug reports:

1) I can not manage or delete my Personal Messages.
2) I’m not automatically recognised when I visit the site.

Joop,

If you can’t see the ‘bug’ icon, in the bottom right corner of your browser, you can also try…

http://www.motifator.com/index.php/bugme

This is the URL the “ladybug” icon points to.

Good grief, is that an icon?

Ok, SUGGESTION: move that ... eh ... icon to a place where
you expect it to be noticed.

Formerly all icons or such where on the top-line.

Thanks, Jan and Tb.

I just tried it and it worked fine.  I got the message “email sent”. By the way, my bug report was that Jan and Joop could not use the report facility!
