LOL man this is thight.
I know what you mean about the skipping I have a dirty mouth..
How much ram do you have on the computer your using to record with?
If not the computer, then is it the sequencer of the Motif? I doubt that.

Hey, sounds great anyway, thanks for sharing your work.

Hey Jerry,

Yeah - this one’s pretty tight, I like it.

The skipping is due to the cheap MP3 player / recorder that I have to use to record it on. Maybe I’ll have to look at getting the MLAN board for the XS6 eh ??

I don’t think the Mlan would make the difference here.
CHeck it, I don’t have one, ya feel me?
How much ram do you have in your XS,and in your computer.
My studio pc has 4gb of ram.

Tell ya what brother, just install some freakin ram into your computer, I promise that will help ya. LOL

CHeck out my new groove track, and I’ll am already listening to this track as I type, yep, you got something to work with on this, so get busy son. LOL

Hi maxx

Good music, Very danceable theme. but to me the second lead is little boring.

maybe if you change the voice to a different texture it might work, but then again it’s only my opinion.

cheers

BORING !!! - Cheema, how rude LOL ( I jest )

You know, my wife said the same, so yeah, maybe the “verse” needs another sound. So what should it be ??

Answers on a postcard to..... ;)

...and Jerry. The MP3 recorder isn’t on the PC. Its an MP3 player bout the size of a womans lipstick. Tiny thing, records direct into MP3, but its cheap and as you can hear, not wonderful. Gonna have to sort that out pretty soon eh ??

hey maxx do you have DIMS installed in your XS

because then you can convert any mp3 to wav and import it directly Xs sequencer and mix XS sounds with audio track.

that’s how i do it

“chronicles” and “Bandit on the run” are examples of what i m saying.

if you have dimms in your Xs, let m know i will send you step by step tutorial of how to do mixing in XS sequencer.

cheers

Cheema,

Yes please, can you pm those instructions ?? If I can get mp3 to wav, and / or just normal XS mixes to wav it would save using the mp3 recorder, and I might get a better sound. That would be really cool.

thanks.

Thanks hncheema,

I’ll try that out tonight.

I think eventually I’m still going to have to get both an MLAN card, and a proper Audio interface, just so I can use Cubase properly. I’ve pretty much run out of sequencer memory now, so I’ve got to get it all up and running soon ( currently trying to find out where the correct link for the XS editor over USB is ). But for now, its a great way to add to other people’s tracks.

How do I go about sampling stuff out to a wav ??
