newbie wit a simple question pertaining to the the new soundsets....first u download all 3 sets or all in one file to your puter..unzip them...this question deals with the usb stick...does the stick have to be formatted first by the motif or by the computer or can u just transfer the files without formating the stick at all and will the motif recognize it....ty

All of the USB sticks I have ever encounter (and that is quite a few) do NOT need to be formatted at all to use. They come ready to use.

Make sure that you did not pay extra for any Copy Protection software. USB stick with built-in Copy Protection software are problematical for music gear to use. It typically prevents your music product from seeing the drive.
