Johnny Cash .. oh yeah LOL

actually jerry reed sung the original theme of “smokey and bandit” which was inspiration behind this one.

i think the name was “eastbound and down” or i maybe wrong.

One thing I did notice, and maybe someone could write a bug report about it, is that the songs that are posted here, show up as “index” on the media players,,,meaning they don’t show the name of the song, so it’s like you NEVER posted the song.

Great Song.  You really caught the flavor of a true Smokey chase scene LOL.  To this day, I still say the original movie was one of the funniest ever made.

I do have a quick question.  Which patch did you use for the Sliding Steel Guitar and what was your technique?  I have song that needs a Steel for about 8 measures and had been looking for something.

yes i agree, the first movie was the best, other two were crap.

the guitar i used in this is not a xs voice. It’s one of the guitar samples i got from the internet. there is basically no special way to play guitar on keyboard or many would say to play “keytar”

practice these voices with pitch bend and ribbon control of XS.

you will get the hang of it in no time.

And DF, dude you still stuck on nintendo LOL

Wake up and smell the XBOX360

Hammad:

You mentioned that you purchased the guitar samples for this song.  Could you give me the name of the sample and if it was online, the web site?

Thanks

i collect samples from web, ALL FREE LOL

try http://www.freesound.org/tagsViewSingle.php?id=132 tons and tons of samples.

i think the guitar sample used in this was one of those

Try learning a little bit about Voice editing and Voice creation of XS, then you will really have fun with your voices and samples.

the motifator tutorials “beyond manuals” are the best are to learn about the keyboard, they are very well written.

enjoy
