Ok,simple question, what is it used for, and how do I set it up for use with the expression of a guitar?
In other words, by which I’m not good at,,,I would like to make my guitar voice produce something like a distorted wah wah sound, when I press down on the FC7 pedel,,how do I set it up, and does it belong in the number 2 jack on the back of the XS.

I hope I’m clear in asking this simple question.

Do you have the Motif Loyalty Disk? I believe that Blake Angelos (aka YamahaNorthwest) takes you through setting up the VCM Pedal Wah in a video in the “Motif XS Video” folder on that disk.

There are “at least 3” voices that have a wah-pedel set up by default. you could look at them, maybe figure it out from them. get some pointers. check out

The ones i have found are

Pedal Wah Clavi FC2 (preset 1 079[E15])

Oct FuzzpedalWah FC2 (preset 3 001[A01])

DualCoilLeadWag FC2 (preset 2 002[A02])
