Can the resolution of the sequencer be raised and lowerd?  I hve a motif classic and just cant seem to get the same tight feel as my mpc2000.  Just read some info about changing the resolution will give you a better feel.

All the Motifs feature input quanitze in the sequencer.

On the Rec Setup page, you will see a Quantize parameter,

setting this changes the resolution of the recorded data and will qunatize the input to the sequencer.

If you are recording and want to get a “tighter “ feel setting this to 16th note -120 PPQ will often give you what you are looking for.
