Man, it is really frustrating that the LFOs dont sync properly with the Tempo. Why is it that the Lfo slowly but surely falls out of sync like that??? How this managed to happen really trips me out especially because there was a yamaha video showing off the LFOs which made me that much more happy to buy the XS. Everytime I try to start a pattern with a Lfo, I get annoyed and lose all inspiration. I believe a fix for this is way more important than this website upgrade and wish Yamaha dedicated more time to it. I dont even care about the Voice LFOs having a sync option, JUST MAKE THE COMMON LFO SYNC PROPERLY AT LEAST!!!! Please tell me there is a fix for this in some update soon to come or even better, point out something to me that i may be doing wrong that could cause the lfo to start falling out of sync after the first 4 bars.....

btw....anyone else as frustrated as i am about this issue????

This is a known bug.

Not only that, there is no sine waveform.  LFO is not capable of fast speeds.  Element LFO needs more waveforms.  Dual syncable LFO on element or common would be nice too.  Basically the LFOs and waveforms needs a revamp.

The update to the website has absolutely nothing to do with the operating system of the Motif XS… I don’t get that reference/comparison - actually along that line of thinking, a fix for the world economy (why don’t we do something about that while we’re at it) is more important than the upcoming fix for the Common LFO… (which I understand is addressed in the next OS update) but, in the meantime try and keep things in perspective :)

So is there any kind of assurance that this issue is going to be taken care of? It would really make me feel much better knowing Yamaha is working on a solution.

Bad Mister...lol.....that was just my frustration speaking. There is no correlation between the 2 and yes i do feel pretty stupid now ive calmed down a bit. With that set aside and knowing theres a fix soon im able to appreciate the website a little more.

Speaking of which.......for some odd reason I couldnt see any replies in FireFox, but in IE everything works fine....which explains my last post....so glad to hear the next OS update will hopefully have that fix.

There currently is a known forum bug that you can’t see replies to threads you start while logged in.

I did not use LFO so much in my composing. So, can anybody explain to me how to simulate LFO sync to doesn’t sync? Just curious what is that whole thing about.
