Hi,

is there some “internal” volume control in Motif 6 as mine gives very weak (low volume) output sound though all volume nobs are at maximum level?

Yes.

In Utility, in General under the TG tab you’ll find the volume setting for the tone generator overall - set it to 127 for full volume.

Cheers

Thanks for help. It already was 127 but I had an idea to use the headphones plug and it gave normal volume sound so there is something wrong with that plug-in.

Maybe there is another factor at work - why not post up some more details of what you are doing in the motif and how you are connecting it and what you are connecting it to.

It could be that the volume issue lies elsewhere :)

Cheers

One other thing you might try would be to change the output gain for the Motif. You can do this by changing the L&R;Gain parameter in the [UTILITY]-->[F2] I/O-->[SF2] OUTPUT dialog. By default, this parameter is set to +6dB. Try setting it to +12dB or +18dB.
